Out of the small pond of indie music, this album stands out so much; its wavy, bitter-sweet, innocent nature seems to kinda affect me in its very own way. Maybe because it seems to get so personal to me when I listen to it, it gets inside my head and plays like it's describing my past experiences on repeat. I love the sound and fidelity of all the songs too, it's not just lo-fi, it's shakey and nervous and I wouldn't listen to it any other way. It's not just a sad lo-fi indie piece, it's hopeful and always smiling, even if I'm not while listening; i'd say it's the perfect way to describe 'bitter-sweet'. I could talk about Starry Cat until my eventual death (and I think I will), but whoever's reading this should have their own experience and buy it themselves.
I love this album so much. Bedroom Atlas
